We tried to teach Miles how to get a waiter’s attention at a restaurant last night by politely waving his hand high in the air and saying , “Excuse me.” Only he decided to YELL instead:
“Hey Buddy! Excuse Me! Can I have some brown rice, please?”
The WAITRESS did not seem amused.
That’s what Miles calls American Idol, which we watch together on Tuesday nights (I know, I know…) Last night was “Latin Night.” One of the contestants (my favorite, Melinda) sang this song called “Sway.” One of the lyrics was “Other dancers may be on the floor…” Miles heard this and exclaimed “PEE on the FLOOR?!?!?! That’s so silly!”
Just for giggles, I entered a photo in this silly monthly contest at this website called Babynames.com. The theme for the month of April was “My Grandpa and Me.” Our photo was chosen and we won a Babynames.com t-shirt! Woo hoo!
We’ve had a fun week celebrating Passover and getting ready for Easter. Our friends Marcia, Robin, Pearl and Carrie hosted a mini-seder at their place. We had a great time. Yesterday it was egg-dyeing and a pizza party with our neighbors, Diana, Aaron and Claudia.
Today we are off to Jude and Maria’s house for an Easter Egg hunt, and tomorrow, over the bayou and down the highway to Grams’ house we go for Easter Dinner. Busy Busy!
