Miles loves the Backyardigans. They are a heavily merchandised brand. But they are also fun, have songs that are smarter than most Broadway shows and, most importantly, crack Miles up. I’m feeling like we dodged a bullet or two.
Here are Tyrone and Pablo, as diapered by Miles. I helped a little. (As I write this, Miles is putting Tyrone down for a nap.)
GP came from Miami for Miles’ b-day. His name morphed from “Froompa Tock” to “daddy” after I told Miles he was MY daddy, to “Tack” and finally to “Fampa Tack.” The latter fits in well with the names for his other Grandparents: “Franna” (Grandma Jill) and “Fams” (Grams) and Fandaddy (Grandaddy).

Opening presents the next morning. We couldn’t do it last night because he passed out at 6:30. What a lot of loot! And how did people know that he is OBSESSED with Surfer Pablo and Cowboy Tyrone?
